Happy Convenience Store Week! Thank you to all the hardworking convenience store employees, owners and operators across Ontario for serving your communities, supporting local jobs and going above and beyond every day. 

Stopped in at the Esso Go Store in Charlottetown yesterday before hitting the road to grab some snacks and say thank you to workers here during Convenience Week. With over 188,000 convenience store workers across the country selling over $55 billion annually, they are at the heart of many of our communities and our one stop shop while we're on the move. But high Liberal taxes and inflation have forced 20% of these local shops to shut down since 2016. Conservatives will fight to slash spending and lower taxes to make this a country that works for the people who do the work.

Convenience Week is our chance to celebrate the hardworking staff who keep shelves stocked, doors open, and communities moving every single day. Thank you to everyone working in convenience stores across Nova Scotia.

Proud to recognize and thank convenience store workers throughout #ConvenienceWeek, including my friends at @RabbaFineFoods in #PortCredit. They’re giving back this week, raising funds in partnership with @MakeAWishCA to help grant wishes to children with critical illnesses.
